about me

Fairlight Strong is an illustrator from Boone, North Carolina currently based in Charlotte. She will receive her Bachelors in Fine Arts from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in December 2025. Her preferred materials are colored pencils, oil paints, and digital media. Her work is a timeline of self discovery, a perpetual attempt to unravel the self. Fairlight continues to explore her subconscious, conceptualizing her past and present in her Fall 2025 BFA exhibition project, Innocence.

Fairlight has participated in several gallery exhibitions within Charlotte. She currently works as an art teacher, but is excited to travel along more paths within community building and the arts. She intends to explore gallery assistant positions and is also interested in pursuing a career as a tattoo artist.
